Rev. Dr. Jarrod R. Bottley is a native of Waterproof, LA which lies in Tensas Parish. He was born as a result of the unison of Ms. CaSandra A. Bottley and Mr. Robert Bethel, III. His paternal and maternal grandparents and great-grandparents are Mr. & Mrs. Roosevelt Bottley, Ms. Louise Bethel, and Cleora T. Barden. The remaining members of the family include, but are not limited to, the Bottley, Barden, Turner, Lee, England, and Bethel family.  Bottley has been blessed with two siblings, Amanda Bethel and Brian Bottley, both being college graduates. Bottley is engaged to Loreal D. Jones of Baton Rouge, LA. Spiritually, God has already joined them together.

Bottley is currently residing in East Baton Rouge Parish attending a major university soon to result in him holding the degree “Doctor of Pharmacy.” With that degree, Bottley plans to establish multiple franchises of what will be called Bottley's Pharmacy across the country.  In addition to what seems to already be a hectic task, Bottley and his fiancée are the spiritual leaders of Greater St. John  Full Gospel Ministry. This ministry was called to existence by God through Bottley and he currently serve as Founder, Senior Pastor, and Teacher; Ms. Jones is of course the 1st Lady and the director of Women of Excellence. Future plans for the church is to establish an elementary and secondary school and a minister's training institution.

Bottley, as a teenager, had a vision that he could do anything under the direction of God. Not long after, he began to see the results of true dedication and commitment. Bottley is now the upcoming author of three books, the vocal artist of five albums, and the owner of Bread of Heaven Catering. Being told he was too young to do any of these things, Bottley insisted that God specializes in those things that seem to be impossible. With the consistent dedication of his mother and family, his main dreams are becoming realities. Bottley is now in search of two large buildings due to the rapid growth of his business and the church.

Bottley began his religious career in late November 1993 under the direction of God. It was then that Bottley made it first vocal performance in New Orleans, LA. Now his vocal performance has great recognition and has taken him to numerous states. It wasn't until August 1999 that Bottley professed that God had called him to preach the Gospel unto all nations and later accepted a youth director position with Tensas Baptist Association and area churches as youth minister. There were always signs of his spiritual leadership, but insisted on waiting until God said it was time. Under the leadership of Rev. James Beverly at Greenfield Baptist Church, Bottley sat for a long time after that and studied to show himself approved.

Bottley was always asked to speak whether it was motivationally, inspirationally, or spiritually before he even accepted the calling. Targeting the key events in his life, it wasn't until August 2005 that he made a transition. It was then that Bottley began to work diligently with spiritual leadership position in and around the Baton Rouge area. He has currently worked, voluntarily, with over 10 churches. Being a young man on the move for Christ he's always being tested for the knowledge and understanding of God's Word.

Bottley is viewed as a remarkable and noble man in the community for his wide range of always volunteering as a tutor or cook, being a young pastor, hard-working individual to provide for his fiancée and family, studious student, and Christian values. Bottley has attended numerous distant learning seminaries and institutions including, but not limited to, Universal Life Church Seminary, Northwestern Theological Seminary, Adrian Rogers Pastor's Training Institution, and other institutions. In addition to satisfactorily completing and attending training courses, he was awarded an honorable Doctorate of Biblical Theology from New Horizon Institution of New York for his dedication to the institution and voluntarily equipping thousands of other Christian leaders with biblical knowledge.

When we asked Bottley what or who inspired him, this is how he answered:

“God established my foundation so I'm rooted in Him. Jesus made it possible for me make mistakes and yet get back up again so I'm leaning on Him.  The Holy Spirit comforts me when everyone else says I can't so I'm trusting in Him. My mother, as a single parent, and family work very hard daily to make sure I have what I need so I'm counting on them. My spiritual wife, Loreal, stands firmly by me through thick and thin so I've decided to marry her. Louisiana, USA, and the world have given me a chance to exercise my gifts so I'm giving back to them.”

Greater St. John Full Gospel Ministry and the Baton Rouge community would like to thank Rev. Dr. Jarrod R. Bottley and the 1st Lady for allowing God to utilize them at serving the community, region, and nation. We are proud to have young leaders who are capable of bringing in the young and older Christians and taking the church outside the  four walls. They always make themselves available to anyone who desires their services.
